Following the publication of the 'Practical Guide to Sustainability in the Company', the ESG - Sustainability Office of Unione Industriali Torino proposes to member companies a training course that aims to deepen and bring even more into practice the main contents of the guide, accompanying companies on the complex path of transition towards business models that respect the environment and people.

The tea from the Uva and Dimbula

UVA Tea: UVA tea is grown in the Uva Province, located in the eastern part of Sri Lanka. The tea gardens in this region are situated at elevations ranging from 1,000 to 1,600 meters above sea level. The cool temperatures, misty hills, and abundant rainfall create the perfect environment for growing tea with a distinctively bright and fragrant flavor. Dimbula Tea: Dimbula tea comes from the Dimbula District, located in the central highlands of Sri Lanka. The tea gardens in this region are situated at elevations ranging from 1,200 to 1,800 meters above sea level. The cool temperatures, ample rainfall, and well-drained soil contribute to the unique flavor characteristics of Dimbula tea. It is known for its medium to full-bodied profile with a bright, coppery infusion and a rich, brisk flavor. Dimbula tea often exhibits a well-balanced combination of floral, citrus, and caramel notes.
